Amazing Tanzania

Hi Mike. We just arrived back from our amazing trip to Tanzania with a stay in Zanzibar.  
We wish to thank you for arranging a great trip and using the very "best" vendors.  
Everything went without a hitch - even when our flight from the Safari lodge back to 
Arusha was 2 hours late the Coastal staff personally escorted us on landing in 
Arusha (with our bags) directly to the plane for the flight to Zanzibar - great service. 
We quckly learned not to worry about anything as the drivers, staff, and pilots always 
made sure we were in the right place on time and any questions or concerns were 
dealt with.  The Kili climb you already heard about - a tough week with great staff that made 
the week a success; the Lamia safari lodge was stunning with great friendly staff; beautiful views; 
lots of animals and "great" food.  We manage to watch 2 river crossings on the same day 
plus saw 4 of the big 5. 
Our stay in Zanzibar with the 1 night at Serana in Stone town was flavorfull and set the mood for 
Zanzibar (great hotel but poor food) but to top everything was the 3 nights at the "Palms".  
Totally over the top - staff; food; location - we felt like movie stars with our own private retreat.  
A great ending to a great trip.
I think we can all learn from the people of Tanzania in that despite all their economic and social 
hardships they face every day - they seem to wake up 
with a smile on
their faces and humor in their hearts - which makes our trip that much more rewarding.
