Wings over Northern Botswana

This custom designed safari can include any number of camps in Botswana.

At least 7 days are required in Botswana to fully appreciate the diversity of habitats and regions - the ideal itinerary would include the Moremi area, the Okavango Delta and the Linyanti/Chobe area. If you are visiting Botswana between January and May, then we highly recommend the inclusion of a camp in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, as this is when the desert comes to life.

This safari can easily be combined with Namibia, Victoria Falls or Zambia.

Chada Katavi Camp, Tanzania

Katavi National Park is one of the great wildlife experiences of the world. Miles from anywhere, it has almost mythical status, and, it's thought, a greater density of mammals than any other Tanzanian reserve.

Chada Katavi Camp is ideally used in combination with Greystoke Mahale Camp on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, where tracking for chimpanzees is the order of the day.

Sand Rivers, Selous, Tanzania

The Selous Game Reserve, at a massive 50,000 kilometres square, (that's bigger than Belgium) is a wilderness on a huge scale - the largest, in fact, in the whole of Africa. Set on a wide curve of the great Rufiji River, Sand Rivers Selous is both expedition base, and safari retreat. The lodge is small but beautifully formed, with an imposing mess, swimming pool, excellent cooking and careful, at-your-whim service.

Sand Rivers is very accessible from Dar es Salaam and combines well with Zanzibar and a Serengeti safari.

Mvuu Wilderness Lodge, Malawi
