Day 1

Today you arrive in Uganda, where you are met at the Entebbe International Airport with welcome drinks and a trip briefing. From the airport you will be taken to hotel, prior to an afternoon scheduled charter flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Overnight Gorilla Forest Camp, Buhomu Lodhe or Engagi Lodge.

Days 2 & 3

The Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi are part of a worldwide population of just 720 individuals. The gorillas we are allowed to track belong to one of 6 habituated family groups. For up to five years, each of these groups have undergone an extremely delicate process that has gradually brought them to tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day and allowed a few privileged visitors to interact with them in the wild. The time taken to track the gorillas varies enormously, from as little as half an hour to as much as 9 hours before one returns to camp.Once the gorillas are located, our group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them.

Day 4

This morning we enjoy a forest walk, followed by lunch and an afternoon flight back to Entebbe where you can connect with an evening flight out.

1 Gorilla track (3 day trip) on Wednesday & Friday departures from Entebbe: US$2,186.00 per person sharing. Single supplement of US$177.00

2 Gorilla tracks (4 day trip) on a Sunday departure from Entebbe: US$3,281.00 per person sharing. Single supplement of US$266.00
