Meals on safari are excellent! They really are, given the circumstances in which they are created, we never hear any complaints about the food. It does vary, and for the most part it is homey and tasty. You won’t find lamb shank confit with poached pear & swiss chard at a bush camp in the middle of the south Luangwa, though you will be served a fresh green salad, warm from the oven baked bread and home made Lasagna.
In South Africa, there are 5 star lodges that do up the stakes, and offer cuisine for a more discerning palate. What is important to note, we can cater for any dietary requirements such as vegetarian or gluten free meals etc. We must know your meal preferences beforehand, to notify the camps ahead of your arrival, they can then plan a menu.0
